Why it matters

Creating human cell constructs for research is a manual, difficult and time consuming process - a single experiment can take up to 9 days to prepare.

How it works

Inventia is building machines that can bioprint human cells in 3D.

Their main machine, RASTRUM, can create cell models that closely and predictably imitate real human tissue structure and behaviour across a range of disease states, allowing for researchers to bypass the arduous process of creating cell constructs.

The WOW factor

The Wow Factor

Inventia’s solution integrates into existing experimental workflows. They have curated a library of 3D cell models and matrices that can simply be selected and automatically printed on-site in a plug and play manner. The result is complete automation of the cell construction phase.
