Peter Chen is the creative lead at Main Sequence where he’s focused on helping venture science companies shape their early brand directions and work closely with the investment team on creative projects. Since joining the fund in 2021, he has led design projects for Main Sequence, and partners such as Eden Brew and to define their minimum viable product (MVP) and launch quickly.
A designer by trade for over 17 years, Peter has led design projects from some of the world’s biggest brands most recently serving as the creative director at Eden Brew and Movio, the head of design at Coviu Global, and design lead at Datacom and Deloitte Australia before joining Main Sequence. He’s acquired extensive startup, product, sales, and marketing experiences through his time bootstrapping and growing his own enterprise SaaS startup, Beaconmaker.
Passionate about using design and digital communications for good, Peter also founded Creative Helpers, a team of volunteers that uses their design and digital skills to support clients such as Animal Liberation NSW, Vegan Australia, Vegan Society NSW, Sydney Story Factory and The Branch Foundation.
Peter graduated from Rosehill College before obtaining his Diploma of Digital Media from the Media Design School.
